Social Media Scanner collects information to open the account, including name and surname, name of the contracting company and email address. Likewise, when necessary, specific information may be required to process an order or make a delivery or billing.

Social Media Scanner uses the information in order to provide the best possible service, particularly to maintain a user registry and improve its service. Emails may be sent periodically through our site with special offers, new products and other advertising information that we consider relevant to you or that may provide you with some benefit. These emails will be sent to the address you provide and can be canceled at any time.

How to delete your personal information:
Social Media Scanner is a system that must be used on demand and with prior authorization from Web Mechanics. Its registration is not open, it must be requested by the contracting company, and only the full name, email and company name for the work (if applicable) are collected.
If you want to delete your information from Social Media Scanner, you must request the deletion by sending an email to the address contacto@webmechanics.co.cr, also asking for the termination of the relationship. Web Mechanics will confirm the request and delete the data and the tracking points.
Tracking points:
Social Media Scanner is a system that obtains performance statistics (engagement) on Twitter accounts and Facebook pages, through the public APIs. It is subject to the rules and limits that both, Twitter and Facebook, establish in their APIs.
Social Media Scanner defines as a tracking point each of the Twitter accounts or Facebook pages from which it must calculate performance information.
From Twitter, Social Media Scanner can only get statistics for public accounts. From Facebook, you can only get statistics for public pages (you cannot get information about people or groups).
